Ian Wagreich leads the immigration practice at Hinshaw & Culbertson, LLP, a national law firm headquartered in Chicago, IL.  Ian handles business-related immigration law for multinational corporations, hospitals, nonprofit arts institutions, universities, athletic organizations, and individual investors and entrepreneurs. A passionate advocate for a more just and humane immigration system, Ian is committed to helping his clients navigate each step of an increasingly complex process. In addition to providing counsel on nonimmigrant working visas, employment-based permanent residence, and labor certification, Ian advises clients on investment-related immigration and employer sanctions. Ian manages the paperwork required for hiring highly skilled workers, advises on the international transfer of personnel, leads corporate compliance initiatives, and assists employees with obtaining U.S. permanent residence and citizenship. Recognized as a leading voice on immigration law topics nationwide, Ian frequently speaks about immigration issues on campuses and continuing legal education seminars. This includes nearly a decade at a firm where he was a founding shareholder. While there, he focused entirely on business-related immigration and nationality related legal issues. Ian has received a number of awards from AILA, including President's Commendations in 2011, 2015, and 2015, the AILA Chicago Chapter's "Beacon of Light" Award in 2014 and AILA National's Sam Williamson Mentor Award in 2022.



Laura Deddish Burton is a partner in the Greensboro, NC office of Fox Rothschild and is board certified in immigration law by the North Carolina Board of Legal Specialization of the NC State Bar. Her practice centers on business immigration and international law. She counsels a variety of companies and individuals on all aspects of business immigration, including consular contracts, employment- and family-based immigrant and non-immigrant visas, Form I-9 issues, ICE worksite enforcement and inbound and outbound employee transfer. Laura also represents a variety of businesses in civil litigation and international dispute resolution. Laura speaks and writes regularly on topics related to business immigration. She was named Outstanding Women in Business honoree by Triad Business Journal (2022) and recognized by Chambers USA for Employment Law in North Carolina (2016-2019) and Immigration in North Carolina (2020-2023).  Laura is active in the French-American Chamber of Commerce of North Carolina, Inc. and the Women’s Professional Forum and Foundation.  She is a graduate of University of Virginia School of Law and Duke University. 

Tristan Gunn is a partner in the firm of Tapia-Ruano & Gunn PC, a family-owned immigration law office in downtown Chicago, IL. Tristan is a Chicago native and is a graduate of DePaul University College of Law. He was admitted to the Illinois State Bar in 2012. Tristan primarily practices in the area of family-based immigration benefits and removal defense. Tristan has been a member of AILA since 2012 and has served on various committees, as well as spoken on numerous panels, at both the local and national level. Tristan is a past chair of the Immigration and Nationality Committee for the Chicago Bar Association. He has also been active member of the the Illinois State Bar Association, the Illinois Hispanic Lawyers Association and a member of the Diversity Alumni Council for the DePaul University College of Law and frequent speaker on training sessions at the DePaul University College of Law Asylum and Immigration Law Clinic. 

Edward White is a solo attorney in Boston, Massachusetts and is a Past Chapter Chair of the AILA New England Chapter. He is a 1992 graduate of DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois. Ed primarily practices in the areas of family and employment-based immigration. He has previously served on AILA's USCIS Field Operations Liaison Committee and for the coming year on AILA's DOL Liaison Committee’s H-2 Subcommittee. He has also served on various Conference Planning Committees for AILA National as well as the AILA New England Chapter. 



Richard M. Green is a Certified Specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization, and a partner with CDF Labor Law, LLP in Irvine, California where he practices employment-based immigration law. Mr. Green serves and has served on various  American Immigration Lawyer Association's committees including  Military Assistance Project Committee and the Annual Conference committee.  Mr. Green received a Juris Doctor degree from the Chapman University School of Law in 1998 and is admitted to practice law in California and Massachusetts. 

Ksenia A. Maiorova received her Juris Doctor degree from the Berkeley School of Law in 2007.  She is the Managing Partner of Maiorova Law LLC, where she focuses her practice on immigration solutions for professional athletes and other sports industry professionals, as well as provides consulting services to attorneys. She is the founder of Sports Immigration Lawyers, a professional group for sports immigration practitioners, and is the founder and conference chair of the annual Sports Immigration Law Conference organized with the support of AILA Central Florida.  She is also the co-editor of and contributing author to AILA’s “Immigration Options for Artists, Entertainers, and Athletes, 3rd Ed.” Ksenia is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell and has been featured in national and international media as a subject matter expert on sports immigration.
